Beautiful Ones: The Best of Suede 1992-2018

Released in a variety of formats, the 2 CD version of Beautiful Ones, Suede’s third compilation of its work released over the years, is the most simultaneously focused (comparatively) and widest ranging such effort, being the only one to draw on the reunion years as well as their initial run. It’s understandably weighted towards that first phase, but by including a slew of their key B-sides such as “My Insatiable One” and “Europe Is Our Playground” along with many deep album cuts plus good choices from their second phase, it’s a fine starting point for a curious listener.
