Revolting Cocks began as a collaboration between Al Jourgensen of Ministry, Richard 23 of Front 242 and Belgian producer Luc Van Acker. 23 soon departed, leaving the project in Jourgensen’s depraved hands, and it became a grinding, dirty-minded industrial-rock eruption, like Ministry as strip-club soundtrack. The group’s second album is their magnum opus, featuring one of their best actual songs (“Stainless Steel Providers”) alongside a mangled cover of Olivia Newton-John’s “(Let’s Get) Physical,” the almost hip-hop title track, and the brain-melting “Get Down,” which pounds a single riff into the ground for 14 minutes, with guest vocals from Skinny Puppy’s Nivek Ogre.
