Burnin’ Hot

Released

Prince-ly hard funk freaks from Memphis, the birthplace of soul, Xavion went crazy from the heat in the same way as David Lee Roth – it wasn’t global warming making their thermometers rise. Their salacious sweat-soaked singles like “Get Me Hot,” “Eat Your Heart Out,” and “Self-Built Hell” get the fire going with huge, rigid synth-beats and Def Leppard guitar pyromania. Although they only burned brightly for one brief moment, the flame they captured on their soulful sole full-length still simmers.
