Dust cover
Released

Following the initial Bauhaus reunion tours in the late 1990s and the stopgap Recall EP as well as the Wild Birds compilation, Murphy embarked on what proved to be one of his most striking and unusual solo efforts, the undeservedly less well known Dust, released in 2002. Murphy had long been living with his Turkish wife in her home country and, with the musical and production help of Turkish/electronic fusion artist Mercan Dede and other collaborators, embraced a haunting, intriguing approach; standout cuts include “Your Face” and “No Home Without Its Sire.”
