Johannes Ockeghem: Complete Songs, Vol. 1

Released

Damn why were medieval cats so chill!! Ockeghem is considered by some to be Bach’s equal. These settings of French lyric poetry are gentler and have less of that Bach typewriter pacing. The small vocal group is paired with harp, bass, and viola, and the end result is calm and blissfully clear. Like music being emitted directly from rocks and trees.
