Police in Helicopter

Dubinator (a.k.a. Nick the Reverend) is a somewhat shadowy character on the neo-dub scene, one whose real identity is a closely-held secret but who (based on the evidence of this album) has racked up some serious IOUs among the luminaries of contemporary reggae: Police in Helicopter features cameo appearance from the likes of Seanie T, Doug Wimbish, and Rob Smith. The music is deep modern roots reggae, and the program uses classic songs “Police in Helicopter” and “Chase the Devil” as springboards to wild flights of rhythmic fancy. Great stuff.
