The OMD Singles cover

Supplanting the earlier best-of collections, The OMD Singles serves as a near-perfect summary of the band’s truly remarkable run of synth-pop hits in their first fifteen years, blending together their UK peaks and their late 80s US American breakout. By default it leaves out their deeper cuts and more intriguing experiments, but besides cherry picking the key numbers from the 1990s run when it was only Andy McCluskey, the classic lineup years just showcase one winner after another, both McCluskey and Paul Humphreys proving to be chart icons.
